Shipping & Delivery Policy
Last updated: 10 September 2026 · Effective date: 25 July 2026
In short: Zokit buys construction materials from local suppliers and delivers them to your site through our delivery partners. We currently serve select areas of Mysore (Mysuru), Karnataka (listed in Section 1). You can check serviceability by entering your delivery location in the app. Standard orders are delivered the next day; express items arrive in about 90–120 minutes where available. Delivery charges, where applicable, are shown before you confirm your order. Pay on Delivery orders are paid by UPI to Zokit when the order arrives; we do not accept cash. Please make sure your site is accessible for unloading, and inspect materials at delivery.
This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders are delivered on the Zokit platform ("Platform"), operated by Zokit Technologies Private Limited ("Zokit", "we", "us"). It forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms & Conditions and Refund & Cancellation Policy. Zokit is the seller of the goods you order. Zokit purchases them from local suppliers, owns them from the moment they are collected, and delivers them to you through its Delivery Partners under Zokit's own invoice and transport documents.
1. Serviceable Areas
Zokit operates a hyperlocal model and currently delivers exclusively within select areas of Mysore (Mysuru), Karnataka. Serviceability is determined by the delivery address you provide at checkout, and depends on the availability of Suppliers and Delivery Partners in that area.
Currently serviceable areas
- Metagalli – 570016
- Vijayanagar 1st Stage – 570017
- Vijayanagar 2nd Stage – 570017
- Vijayanagar 3rd Stage – 570030
- Vijayanagar 4th Stage – 570032
- Belavadi – 570018
We are actively working to expand our delivery coverage to additional areas in the coming months.
- You can check whether we deliver to your location by entering your address or allowing location access in the app.
- If your location is not currently serviceable, you will not be able to place an order for delivery there.
2. Order Processing and Confirmation
- After you place an order, it is confirmed within 2 hours (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy).
- Once confirmed, Zokit buys the items from a suitable Supplier and prepares them for delivery. Zokit chooses the Supplier automatically, based on factors such as location, availability, rating and serviceability. You buy from Zokit, not from the Supplier.
- You will be able to track the status of your order in the app.
3. Delivery Timelines
Because Zokit sources locally, most orders are delivered quickly. Estimated delivery time is shown before you confirm your order and depends on the item type, quantity, Supplier availability and your distance from the Supplier.
| Delivery type | Typical items | Estimated time |
| Standard delivery | Bulk and heavy materials (cement, steel, aggregates) | Next day |
| Express delivery | Fast-moving fittings, fixtures and consumables | Approximately 90–120 minutes, where available |
Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees. They may vary due to order size, traffic, weather, site access, public holidays, or factors beyond our control. Where a significant delay is expected, we will try to keep you informed through the app.
4. Delivery Charges
- Delivery charges, where applicable, are shown to you at checkout before you confirm your order. There are no hidden charges — the amount you see at checkout is what you pay.
- Free delivery may be offered based on order value or during promotional periods.
- Applicable taxes (GST) on goods and, where charged separately, on delivery, are shown on your invoice in accordance with law.
5. Delivery, Site Access and Unloading
- Deliveries are made to the address you provide at checkout. Please ensure the address is accurate and complete, keep a valid phone number reachable for delivery coordination, and make sure you (or someone authorised by you) is available to receive the order.
- Site access. Please ensure the delivery location is safely accessible to the delivery vehicle, especially for heavy or bulk materials. If the site is unsafe or inaccessible for unloading (for example, due to narrow approach, overhead obstructions, or unsafe ground), the Delivery Partner may decline to unload, and this will be treated as a failed delivery.
- Unloading. Please arrange for someone to be available to help receive and unload materials where needed, particularly for bulk items such as cement, steel, bricks and aggregates. Zokit and its Delivery Partners deliver to the accessible point at your address and do not provide installation, fitting, or carrying of materials inside or to upper floors.
- Inspect at delivery. Please inspect your materials at the time of delivery. If any item is damaged, defective, wrong or short, refuse the delivery or report it immediately — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- For Pay on Delivery orders, you pay by UPI when your order arrives: tap Pay now in the Zokit app and your UPI app opens with the amount already filled in, paying Zokit Technologies Private Limited directly. If you cannot pay that way, the Delivery Partner carries a printed Zokit QR code you can scan instead. Zokit checks its own bank account and confirms the payment before the goods are handed over, which may take a few minutes. Zokit does not collect cash, so there is no change to arrange and nothing to keep ready. Never pay the Delivery Partner in cash or into a personal account.
5.1 Storage After Delivery
Once materials have been delivered and unloaded, their proper storage and protection is your responsibility. Many construction materials (such as cement, paints and timber-based products) can be affected by moisture, weather or improper handling. We cannot accept claims for deterioration, movement or damage that occurs after delivery due to storage or handling at your site.
6. Failed or Undelivered Orders
A delivery may fail if no one is available to receive it, the address is incorrect or unreachable, the site is inaccessible or unsafe for the delivery vehicle to unload, or the recipient refuses to accept a correct order without valid reason. In such cases:
- we will attempt to contact you to reschedule or re-attempt delivery, where possible;
- repeated failed deliveries due to incorrect information or unavailability may result in cancellation of the order; and
- for prepaid orders that cannot be delivered through no fault of yours, a refund will be processed in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Changes to Delivery Address
You may request a change to your delivery address only before the order is confirmed. Once an order is confirmed, the delivery address generally cannot be changed, as Zokit sources and routes the order based on that location.
8. Risk and Title
Zokit owns the goods while they are in transit and bears the risk of loss or damage in transit. Title and risk in the goods pass to you on delivery. Please raise any damage, shortage or wrong-item issue at the time of delivery or within the window described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
9. Documents That Travel With Your Order
Your goods travel with Zokit's tax invoice and, where the law requires one, an e-way bill generated by Zokit. Your invoice for an order covers everything you ordered in a single document, and is available in the app once your order has been delivered. Delivery is carried out by Zokit's Delivery Partners. Nothing in this Policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
